Trying to build a pc for the first time

Thinking about building a pc and some of these things I'm not sure are compatible. Im getting anaked Asus maximus vlll with a core i7 6700(which works), but can I use a mdi nvidia 1070 8gb gddr5, and also corsair vengeance (4×8gb) ddr4 2666mhz?

to be honest when I am looking o build a system I look at part picker it give me a quick look and if there are "issues" I get a quick look at what they may be, I use a web site called (and many of us do) PC Part Picker https://pcpartpicker.com/ click on the " start a build" and pick the parts...

your picks look like this so far https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nzrkWX now pick the rest :)
the setup looks fine ( see the no compatibility issues, and top right you will see what is your power consumption)
