Hello, im building my first gaming rig soon, i'll be using it in a long run, for gaming in 1080p and designing in blender, 3dmax, flash, photoshop. I did a reasearch and since im not an expert in building a pc, any suggestion regarding parts will be helpful. As for budget it's around $976 maybe slighty higher (don't go crazy on me). Specs are..

Proc Core i7 6700 Skylake (LGA 1151 3.4GHz 8MBc 4 Core)
Mobo Asus B150M-A or MSI B150M Bazooka Plus
Memory G Skill Ripjaws V 8GB (2x4) DDR4 2400MHz
HDD 1TB Seagate
SSD Corsair 120GB Force LS
GPU MSI GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 192bit OC or MSI RX 480 8GB Armor OC
PSU Seasonic S12II 520w 80+ Bronze
Cooler Hyper 212x

Is this a good build? I think it's good enough for my task, but im hoping to run games on 1080p with 60fps or so. Maybe you could help me choose the motherboard and GPU above? Or is there any 'unsuitable' parts on the list? Better parts with slighty cheaper/higer price? For GPU, reviews say GTX 1060 perfoms better with DX11 and RX 480 with DX12.. Which one is better? Thank you.

Solution
Both Asus B150M-A and MSI B150 bazooka are good for that price, the main difference is sound quality and features like having a fast slot for second GPU, more M.2 cards slots and USB Type-C connector on the motherboard, if you don't need that then just go with B150M Asus or MSI, they are both good for the price.

Your build is well balanced and suitable for what you do, you should get 2x8GB of ram thou, and your motherboard runs the RAM at 2133Mhz so it's not worth to buy 2400Mhz RAM. 16GB of ram is needed for photoshop and designing. For Blender GTX 1060 performs much better, for gaming RX 480 is better and more future proof as it works better in future games that will have DX12.

I want to take 2x8 16GB but my budget has the other hand lol, i think i'll just upgrade my ram later and for motherboard yes it's only at 2133Mhz, maybe you know a better motherboard with price around $120? DX12 will be priority in future gaming? Who knows

If you don't need USB 3.1 get this one. It has great onboard audio. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20H170%20Performance/

You can buy USB 3.1 pcie card later on if you will really need it. It even has USB type-C connector for future proof.

Ok, i'll check that.

Update: Does it need to be overclocked to reach 2133Mhz? Also can you recommend me a good DDR4 2x4 ram with speed of 2133Mhz?

May i hear more? Is that a well-match build? Is the PSU good enough? Which motherboard and GPU above is best? As for RAM im still in search for it. Summoning experienced users..

The PSU is good quality and enough power, instead of getting 4GB sticks, get one 8GB stick that runs at 2133Mhz, it will run at that speed by default, there is no need to change.

As for motherboards, the Asus B150M-A runs is DDR3, you should get one with DDR4, apart from that the B150 chipset motherboards are good for that money, they have worse audio compared to one i suggested you, and less features, if you don't need those features it's fine.

Regarding ram, i would get G.Skill or Crucial normal 8GB stick 2133Mhz, depends on the prices you have there. Later on you can buy another 8GB stick and you are good for some time.

Sorry for late reply. Hm, isn't 2x4 will be faster than 1x8? Also B150M A is DDR4, here https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B150M-A/specifications/ but maybe i'll go for Fatal1ty H170. Btw will it be fine if i run it with asus or msi above? Asking just to make sure, i'll save up a bit more for Fatal1ty if needed.

I see, what about this http://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/fatal1ty%20b150%20gaming%20k4/ It's $11 higher than Asus B150M A here

Asrock h170 x1 is a rock solid budget board with great features.

Dump the cooler (you don't need it) - as suggested spend the saving either on upping the ssd to 240GB or upping the ram to 16GB - in my eyes the ram would take priority

GPU wise the 1060 & 480 are both great 1080p
cards.
If budget is tight just pick the best priced one, neither will disappoint

Nice find, it has better Audio, apart from that it is almost the same, i think it's worth to pay 11$ extra just for better audio.

120GB SSD is more than enough if you need just for windows, anyway if you want to get most bang for the buck then look at the 240-256GB SSD's.

Don't forget to select as best answer if you are happy with the help.

Sure dont worry, for SSD i'll stay with 120GB SSD for now. Maybe i'll go for this http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20B150%20Gaming%20K4/?cat=Specifications i think it's better, not just the sound card, what do you think? By the way what will happen if i run 2400Mhz RAM with motherboard that support 2133Mhz? I'm still in search for the 2x4 2133Mhz
