For example, if I had a motherboard that cannot support overclocking then I want to overclock my cpu and gpu, then what if I swap out my gpu and cpu and overclock it in a different motherboard, then after overclocking from that motherboard, I will just simply put back my cpu and gpu in my motherboard that cannot overclock it. Will the motherboard notice the overclocked frequencies of the gpu and cpu or will it just be like nothing happened because you overclocked it on a different motherboard and that motherboard that can't overclock is just thinking that is the stock frequencies of the cpu and gpu?I hope you understand this because I can't really explain it very well.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

Solution
No, your CPU doesn't store any overclocking info. It will run at stock.

You can overclock your GPU using software. It is independent of motherboard.
