That's a very old motherboard with PCIe V2.0 slots. The newer cards (a few generations now) are PCIe 3.0. While in theory they should be compatible, it's definitely not "fully" and there may be edge cases where PCIe 3.0 cards don't work in PCIe 2.0 slots.
There arehowever, no issues with Nvidia cards in AMD boards in general.
There are no situations where PCIe 3.0 cards do not work in PCIe 2.0 slots due to the PCIe version. Now some Dells and HPs have problems with PCIe 3.0 cards but its due to their BIOS not the PCIe version.
Now that said PCIe 1.0 can sometimes have issues with 3.0 cards, this was mostly cleared up with PCIe 1.1
