Hi I'm wondering which one of these cards I should get. I have a 144hz monitor so id like to have some good fps but I was wondering if the zotac gtx 1070 is worth it over buying the Sapphire NITRO+ RX 470 8gb. Its $180 more.

GTX 1070 and RX 470 are on completely diferent levels.

Being the 1070 much stronger, so yes it's worth to reach those nice 144FPS which the 470 won't.

The 1070 beats the RX470 easily. The closest competing card AMD currently has is the RX480, which competes with the GTX 1060. The GTX 1070 is in a completely different tier than either the RX 480 or the GTX 1060.
