Solution
The best connection will be via Ethernet cable.
Up to 100 feet is ok.

Then, I think a pcie adapter wifi card is likely to be stronger if it has a antenna.

Last would be a wifi dongle; stronger ones will have an antenna.

You did not ask, but some thoughts on your build:

1. i5-6600 is priced in no man's land. It is not far from a i5-6600K which is as strong as you can get for a gamer.
To OC, you would want a z170 motherboard.

More likely, you would be better served with a $125 i3-6100. The faster clock rate will prevail in many games.
Both run 4 threads, few games can use more than 2-3.
Here is a review which includes comparisons with i5-6600...

If you are relatively close to your router, a usb adapter will be fine, if you are farther away, you might find that you need an actual card. Obviously, being hard wired is optimal but wifi works just fine.

Love a SSD for windows C drive. 240gb is fine.
But, I like Samsung evo better for performance and reliability.
Consider deferring on the hard drive until you actually need the space, or you will store large sequential files such as videos.

If you need a storage drive, WD black may be more expensive than what you need.
Blue might be better.

If you buy a 500gb ssd up front, you may never need a hard drive.
