Hello! thank you in advance for your help.

Im upgrading from an FX-8320 to an I7-6500 and will be changing out the MOBO, CPU, RAM and upgrading my ssd from a 120gb to a 240gb

Im wondering if this is as simple as changing out all the parts and connecting the new drive?

Anything i need to do to prepare my windows license for this change?

do i just connect the 240gb SSD then clone after hte machine is booted?

any software recommendations for changing my boot drive to the larger SSD?

If windows 10 will boot with the new motherboard cpu and ram, then all you need to do will be to install the drivers that come with your new motherboard.
With windows 7, such a change never worked, but, I think windows 10 is more tolerant.
Reactivation may be an issue if your windows is oem.
A phone activation may be required.
If you buy a Samsung ssd, they have a nice free ssd migration aid that will move your C drive to the ssd.
