Looking to upgrade my older computer to give to my kid, just wanting to upgrade the video card, think the rest of the hardware will be more then enough for what he wants

Existing hardware is a AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W HDZ940XCGIBOX Processor

GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-UD4H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Installed 8 gig of ram

Raidmax rx-630ss powersupply

Looking to go to this video card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125897&ignorebbr=1

Primary game he wants to play is black ops three

Will this card work with this system and is it good enough for a little future proofing for some gaming

Solution
The card is fine with that system. In fact, you can go with a faster card if you want. The PSU has the +12V rail specs to handle more. And the aging Phenom II has enough oomph to keep up with a RX-470 or GTX 1060 3GB. Both ~$200 US.
But the RX-460 will do nicely as well at 1080p.

Thank you for your assistance, I will stick with that card, trying to stay on a budget, if he wants better, he'll have to get a job.
