Any thoughts or suggestions, I am a deposition videographer and am in different buildings everyday. The agency's like their files uploaded as we go, during the day. Many places I can jump on wifi or wired connection and am good to go, but there are just as many places where I can get online, see a nice fat speed, but I can login to my FTP server. I assume this is by design with firewalls but I wondered if anyone may have some suggestion I may be able to try. I use both WSFTP Pro and Cyberduck and neither allows me to login. I cant use my own hotspot (files way too big) and cant use dropbox (agency will only accept uploaded to their server).

Thanks all.

Run it though a vpn... you really should even if it would work. FTP is not secure and you have to worry about the wifi provider as well as other public users of the wifi node
