I just finished this system yesterday and noticed just a few minutes ago after turning it on that that top case fan wasn't on or moving at all. So I checked the molex and psu connections and they seemed fine. I gave the fan the slightest push with my finger and it spun right up and is working normally now. Any idea what might cause this and if it will be a recurring issue or a one time fluke?

Solution
Depends on the type of fan, but yes I'd expect that to be an issue unless there is some manufacturing problem that will sort itself out as the fan is used.

Keep an eye on it.

Also, I couldn't find out if it's a PWM fan or not. If it's 3-pin there's nothing you can do, but if it's a PWM 4-pin then your motherboard may be more suitable if it has 4-pin case fan headers.

I will check on the number of pins it uses and move it to the mobo if there are 4. Thanks for the info!
