Hi all,
for a project I'm making I need my old Asrock G31m-VS2. After I've plugged in all the connectors required (Sata, Molex, 24 pin and 4 pin) I've tried to turn it on but nothing happened. So, after disconnecting each unnecessary cable, I left plugged in only the 24 pin connector and the 4 pin connector but the computer could not boot again.
Then I've decided to unplug the 4 pin connector too and it magically turned on so I thought it was a power issue as I was using a 200w PSU. But after changing the PSU with a better one with about 600w the problems are still remaining.
The only that was ramaining to check was the CPU socket and this is what I've found:

As you can see, there is a bent pin without its tiny head which can't make contact with CPU, I think. I've done some research around the forum and I've discovered that it isn't a redundant pin like ground or Vcc but it's labeled as MSID1 "Power/Other".
Can it be the reason why the motherboard can't boot up with ATX12V plugged in? Is there any way I can replace that pin?

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer. I know it is kind of impossible, but I was wondering if it is possible to pull out that specific pin and pushing back in anything which can make contact with the CPU pin. Is It hard or impossible?
