So it's Christmas and I am thinking of buying a new steam link for my 4K tv. I read that download or upload speed doesn't matter but LAN speeds does! So as I did my research I found out that I have 100mbps LAN speed. My question is, is this enough speed for gaming on 1080p via wired connection on both pc and steam link or am I screwed?

I have one and it's been a bit of a mixed experience with it. Some games it works near perfectly with, having very little latency or too much compression. Yet at other times I've tried using it and they game is near unplayable with almost a seconds delay between input on your controller to the action being executed onscreen. I admittedly haven't played on it in months as it just haven't wanted to due to this fact.

I have mine connected via ethernet to my router and then ethernet to my pc. For the price, I cannot complain as i bought it in the steam sale. Might fire it up soon as I haven't tried it since i upgraded my PC
