I have a dell optiplex 960 mt with 4gb ram and Intel hd 4500 integrated graphics and a 255 watt power supply. Will this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CLZ047Q
Work if I use vga and will I still be able to run half life 2 and portal on lowest settings full screen?
My old monitor is an acre v173 17 inch, please don't comment that I have old hardware, I know.
I'm running Windows 7 professional. Thanks! :D

it will work since it has a vga port and it will run your games if you were running them at 1080 resolution before. If you were running at a lower res then you will need to run at that same resolution otherwise expect lowered framerates.
