Hi! I've decided to buy my son the parts to build his own gaming PC for Christmas...looking to spend $400+-. Can anyone please help me get the most for my $. I'm a pc user but know nothing about the internal parts lol! Thanks in advance for any help! He plays COD type games...I've been looking through the forums but most I've found are pretty old so far. I know he wants a case with lights;) and I'd like a decent memory and speed. And I'd like to be able to add Microsoft word for school related use. Thanks so much!

I know this is over budget, but if he is going to want new games, this is probably the best you will get. It's starting point and the case is blue. Also, you will need Windows as well.

I don't mind going over budget, just wanting to stay reasonable. He plays the newest COD (at least on Xbox-he doesn't have a gaming pc at all but begging for one ha)...those choices look great to me that you sent (takeaway price range-cause I have zero idea on what I'm buying lol)..I'll probably just stick with that and go ahead and order today to be sure to get them all in on time! Thanks so much for your help!!!

If you need to include the Operating System (Windows 7/10) then we would need to adjust things quite a bit to try and fit that into the budget. Did you already have the Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse too?
