Hey guys! I got a quick question
I'm looking to buy a new motherboard. It's Asus 970 PRO GAMING/AURA. Now I got the GA-F2A68HM-HD2. my Processor is AMD A10 7700k. If Ill buy the new motherboard I'll have to change the processor. I was looking at this AMD FX 6300 Black Edition. My power supply is the problem aswell. I have the ScanFX 500w and I was looking to upgrade that aswell. But it's either New motherboard and processor or new power supply like the EVGA 650 GQ Gold Hybrid Modular ATX PSU - 650 W. So can you guys help Me choose? Thanks

Edit: didnt see until now, you were looking for parts in pound. updated my links..

Dont "waste" money upgrading cpu/board for now.

Zen/Ryzen will provide a good option to switch cpu/board later (the new AM4 is more future proof, if amd)
and will make intel drop prices (if u wanna switch to blue).
AM3+ is more or less EOL, and i dont see a reason to buy "old" HW, unless something "died" and needs to be replaced..

a good psu can always be reused, same for a (newer) gpu.

i wouldnt run a larger/newer gpu on the psu u have right now.
gold rated is good, but i would recommend going platinum.
they have better quality/components and longer warranty,
it will provide cleaner/more stable power and the difference in price will be made up...

I want to achieve in playing games. Even making programs later on. But mostly on playing games. I got €300 to spend. That power PSU is €100 so I got €200 to spend if I buy it. What do you think?

Going to the FX-6300 is a step backwards. I know you're looking to upgrade things, but the FM2 platform is significantly more modern than the AM3 platform. Also, for the most part you'll get what you need out of your current processor/motherboard. In gaming, the difference between a good Intel setup and what you have, when paired with a decent GPU really isn't all that much (a few fps depending on the game).

However, the first thing you should definitely upgrade is the PSU. You can't go wrong there, and the EVGA unit you selected is a solid one.

That being said, if you could get your hands on a Haswell based i3 and a basic B85 or H81/H87 based board for about $200 USD new (which should convert to being close to your Euro price range), reuse your DDR3/HDD/Case/PSU and you'd be much further ahead. You'd also have some nice upgrade options down the road as the Haswell i5's and i7's would be a huge boost in performance if you wanted to save up a bit more $$

I appreciate your time for writing a long and a good answer! So I definitely need a new PSU. after that a new motherboard that will have an Intel slot then a cpu or should I buy A new graphics card? I have the Gigabyte gtx 760 or is it good enough?
Would this be good? I found a motherboard ASUS H110M-PLUS M-ATX Motherboard or is it old?

The Gigabyte GTX 760 is a decent GPU - but a lot depends on exactly what games you're looking to play. The 760 will handle mid range games easily enough, high end games on high settings might be a bit much.

The h110 motherboard is -new- as in Skylake/Kaby Lake. That wouldn't be a bad board, but you'd have to get a new Skylake based cpu ($). You'd also have to get DDR4 ram (can't reuse the DDR3). The sweet spot for price/performance right now is Haswell, as you can get slightly used stuff very inexpensively which is what you're looking for and still reuse your RAM.

Although, I recently picked up a Xeon E3-1230 for $70.00, and a used motherboard for it for $50.00.

so unless you expect to replace the psu again in about 2y, a gold would cost more in total (from higher cost on power bill).
