(Didn't see a cooler forum so thought this forum made the most sense, feel free to move it if this is a bad spot)

I'm designing a build and want to see if my RAM will fit with the following air cooler and motherboard.

MB:
..GIGABYTE GA-X99-Ultra Gaming (rev. 1.0) LGA 2011-v3 X99
RAM:
..2x CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) CMD16GX4M2B2400C10
..(I want to leave room to fill all DIMM slots for the future)
Cooler:
..Cryorig R1 Universal

I haven't been able to find anything concrete for the LGA2011-v3 and the R1. There are some places saying that it isn't universal for LGA2011-v3 and to proceed with caution.

I think the height of the RAM is 55mm but haven't been able to confirm it besides on Amazon.

If the cooler won't fit, then if you could suggest one that could, that'd be great. Seems like the RAM is not compatible with larger and more efficient coolers. I may need to either go with liquid cooling or change my RAM.

Thanks.

Thx for the answer.

So if I want to use the R1 Ultimate, my RAM won't fit (like it would with the Universal), and I'd need to change types.

Any recommendations for LPX sticks?
