Good PSU to replace an unbranded 500W PoS (according to people from another thread)?

So I have some unbranded 500W PoS PSU in my PC according to others who have seen its amazon page. I won't bother posting because I know it's a PoS and it doesn't have a requirement I want anyway. I need a PSU with a 6-pin connector, with a minimum of 500W.

I found:
Corsair CP-9020097-UK VS550 ATX/EPS Vs Series 80 Plus Power Supply Unit https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TE4XSMA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_tIAsybDCD4Y2N

Would it be good enough to use this:
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050Ti WF2 OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MG15JZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_4dAsybMVMAE12

For an A10-7850K + 1050ti + balance of your components, you're looking at a max theoretical load of ~350W. A quality 450W would be fine.

The VS line is not good quality. It might be a "best seller", but that's just because it's cheap.

Don't get me wrong, it's likely better than 'no name' PSU that'll come with your setup, but it's not great - there are much better options for 10-15 quid more.

Corsair is a brand, yes. It's not a manufacturer. Most of Corsair's PSUs (all, maybe) are made by CWT and built to a pricepoint. Their quality HXi, RMi etc are made by CWT, but to a higher price point. The VS are built to be a cheap/budget PSU.

Again, not the end of the world if you go for it.... I would just recommend that little...

It's not just the GTX 1050 Ti I want to power, I'm also looking to upgrade to a A10-7850K Quad Core CPU, so I want a PSU with a 500W minimum. I picked that cos it was Corsair (a trusted PSU brand), and a 'Best Seller'. Doesn't seem all that bad. The 1050 Ti and the 550W Corsair PSU are in my budget so I'd ideally like to get those two

As an FYI, one of the biggest 'benefits' to an A10 is the onboard graphics. Pairing it with a GPU is a bit of a waste. An Athlon x4 860K (+1050ti) would get you the same results for a little cheaper, with an i3-6100 (again + 1050ti) setup bettering that in most cases. There might be a better use of funds all-round.
