Do any older games work with 5720x1080?

I'm looking into getting a new setup to replace my outdated on arrival system, and i really really like the idea of 5720x1080. (triple monitor glory) however, i'm really into playing older games, and i don't know if they'll work with this resolution. I feel like they'd just stretch the image all the way across the three monitors instead of actually increasing the FOV. Here are some of the games i'd like to play:

doom 3
total war: Rome original, Medieval II
Age of Empires HD
Age of Mythology Extended Edition
Quake 3 Arena

I looked around and didn't find much information relating to older titles on 5720x1080. I understand if a game isn't compatible with 5720, i could just run on a single monitor, but that's kind of.... Sad. Thanks in advance for any answers.

I believe if you're able to change the resolution (which in many instances is in a separate .cfg file) to whichever resolution you want, the game would be forced to size up the window accordingly and draw accordingly.

Sadly I can't speak to any of those titles directly (not a one in my library), but in general I've found support and/or workarounds for many games from the last 10 years. Some don't of course, but modding many times can get it done.

There are ones that, despite best efforts, do look distorted (especially at periphery), but this goes with the triple monitor territory......the flat-out fantastic ones make up for it though, IMHO.
