is there any possibility of messing up my pc case (fractal design define s) by touching the case when theres some static charge on me by walking around in my carpet-floored room?
i know im supposed to wear an anti-static bracelet when im building it, but i was wondering if anyone has any other tips for building my pc without messing up any components, static-charge wise or otherwise.

Edit: the first time i took the case out of the box and i touched it i got this little static shock from it.

thats from the plastic or what ever it is that, if you wanna be safe always use the ground bracelets, if not just have a part of your body touch some big bulky metal, example PSU or Case (constantly ground yourself)

If you've got a good surface - you can purchase an Anti-Static Mat - just to place your build on. Wear the bracelet too and touch something metal maybe like a radiator.

Doing this will keep you fairly grounded through-out the build.
