Hello, i have a question in regards to my computer turning off randomly. I have recently acquired an old Alienware Area 51 7500 -RS. I swapped out the Core 2 duo with a Core 2 Quad Extreme(LGA775 socket). I'm running Windows 10 but my assumption is that it might be that i only have 2GBs ram. I've read countless forums of people claiming it can be an overheating issue, possibly not in this case. I looked into core temp and the idle is around 41C, under full stress its up to 50C-60C. To me those temps look fine. I ran prime95 small FFTs for 30 minutes with no problem. When i run it on ram testing, it freezes. Do i need to replace my ram or buy more?

I thought so, any suggestions for P5E3 Deluxe Mobo? I've read you can go up to 1800Mhz but it has to be overclocked. I personally would play it safe and go with non Oc though.
