hi fellas,
from past few days my speaker is getting disconnected whenever I turn on my PC, I connected speakers to my phone they worked in one shot but while connected it into the back CPU socket it took a lot of tries. I'm sure the problem is the CPU socket but how can I repair it I don't know and/or what else can be the problem.

Solution
Try a different pair of speakers or headphones to make sure it isn't the cable on the speakers (older cables get fused wiring so they don't work properly when the cable is twisted or flexed at certain angles).

If it really is the speaker port on the computer consider some speakers that interface with USB only or buy a PCI Soundcard and install it in your PC yourself (assuming your motherboard / computer warranty is void).

If your Motherboard warranty ISN'T void then consider sending it back to the manufacturer for repair/replacement.

If the speaker port isn't actually part of the Motherboard (it's instead part of a removable 'soundcard' unit attached to the Motherboard) then consider a replacement soundcard, as said above...

All the above options should be relatively cheap to implement.
