Is it safe to leave a computer to a house with low temperature?

So basically, is it safe to leave a computer to my summer/2nd house through winter, the temperature is always at a minimum 7°Celsius. Is it enough for a pc to be kept idle for long periods of time? Could it be damaged?

-40°C is where most pc parts start to fail so you are safe.

If that is a constant temperature, yes it's safe. The key word there is constant. 44F/7C isn't all that cold where a PC is concerned. It's only when components are subjected to severe temperature changes or humidity that problems can occur. Ever see someone come into a warm house from the cold and their glasses fog up? That's dangerous for a PC. In your case I don't see any issues.

If it has to be on for remote access or something that's fine. Otherwise I see no reason to leave it powered up.

Thanks for the answers guys! Also sorry, I meant with the "idle" that it could be there without use for a few months without use and then when I would come back it would be good to use. Also, this is my old computer so I figured I could just leave it there as I have no need for it back home

When the house heats back up, let the PC acclimate before powering it on to account for the formation of any condensation with the temperature change, especially if the house heats back up quickly.
