I administrate a small business network with 20 machines or so, plus wifi, it is all connected to a business class internet connection thru a cable modem. We have been having random drops of our internet, sometimes 10 seconds, sometimes 10 minutes, but it always comes back. During these times, I cannot access the router GUI, so I suspect our Netgear R6250 consumer type router is not as reliable as we need. It is running the latest firmware, and the most recent updates have not affected this problem.
Our building is large, so I provide wifi thru Unifi access points, so I think I just need a WIRED router. I know I could get another consumer router, disable the wifi and move on, but if I want something more reliable what should I get? I don't use any VPN, so that's not a requirement.
Can someone recommend a Wired Small Business Router?
