Hey! So I have spent countless hours trying to get my PC up and running. It crashed converting a video file with an slight OC. Afterwards it booted to: Missing operating system....

I can't remember what I did exactly, but now it just shows "select proper boot disc and press enter"

I've tried rearranging everything in BIOS... from boot order, to SATA IDE raid configurations, setting to defaults etc..

I have a Sabertooth R.2 990fx

I finally made a flash USB image of my Windows disk and inserted it. It gave me an error saying it was incompatible!

I solved that issue on my own, by reading online and changed my SATA config to IDE then the startup disc worked.

I ran the startup disk for 5 hours and it finally completed after attempting repairs. All my data still exists on the disk. I can see it through the disk repair utility.

After the repairs finished I still can't boot and am stuck where I was before.

I have no idea what to do now. I don't want to reinstall the OS because I don't have a backup.

Can anyone help me recover my PC please?

Much thanks in advance!
