Solution
That GTX 980 Ti is the most powerful of the two, but it is used. So I generally don't trust used computer parts. If you are just wanting 1080p, and don't play on upgrading your monitor, the RX 480, or even the RX 470 will do. Save yourself some money. Of course the GTX 1060 is good too, but if 1080p is your max, then just go with teh 470/480. If you DO plan on upgrading your monitor the 980 Ti will benefit you, but you may not know if it is damaged iniside.

Again, that's just me. I trust you investigate what you need to.

Depends on where you're getting the 980ti from. If it's from ebay or a place like that with a return policy (if the item is falsely advertised as working and it's faulty) then I would go for it and make sure to stress test it. If it's from a place like CL you could ask to see if the person lets you test it. If you aren't comfortable buying it used then go for the RX 480 but I would definitely look into the 980ti.

It means that if the original owner registered the card with EVGA, it will have a warranty that is transferrable to you.
Find the details on the evga web site.

He means that if you buy the GTX 980ti, you might be able to transfer the 1.6 year warranty under your name
