Hello. I want to buy a good cooling system for my chassis. It supports 7 fans and it includes 2. I want to install 5 for a not very noisy system but not with bad coolled. The problem is that if i want to find an cheap z170 board it must be asrock Z170A-X1/3.1 which has only 3 fan connectors and one is for the cpu. I want a cheap pc because im want it the fast as possisble(or when i get enough money). I will future upgrade it for an i7. I have 3 solutions:
1- Fan splitters
2- Molex to fan(not control)
3- B150 mobo (lost raid and overclock)

I will probably prefer the first option. Is it safe to connect 2 to the plugs in the mobo and 1 to one of the splitters on one of the splitters plug? Should i use this molex adaptor(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003OSO0RY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AWWSBQ25XFHMI)? the plug is 3 pin but can i plug a 4 pin fan there?(i know i will lost fan control but that will happen because im using molex)Thanks a lot.

You can use one splitter on each chassis connector for a total of 4 fans and 1 CPU fan. I wouldn't recommend putting more than that, as the fan controller isn't really made for that much power usage. If you connect them directly to molex, they will run at max speed and be loud. If you want it to be silent, you'd need to buy resistors for each fan that you connect directly to the PSU.

Yes but I think that their speeds will be at 100% all the time.
