Is a 5 GHz antenna will detect 2.4 GHZ signal?

Hi,
I just bought a 5 GHz TP-link CPE 510 antenna to get wifi from far distance, but I forgot about the original signal from the router. Is the antenna (5 GHz) will be able to detect 2.4 GHz wifi signal or only 5 GHZ signal?
Thank you

Unless you posted the wrong part number that device is not a antenna. It is a outdoor bridge/repeater. It will only operate on the 5g frequency.

These seldom work to connect to a remote router even if it was on the correct frequency. Most times you must have a directional device like this on both ends to go any distance.

I said antenna but yes it's a outdoor bridge/repeater. So it will not detect 2.4 GHz signal? I know it's not exactly for this application but I am trying to make a kit like those for RVs to get wifi. Some people use the Ubiquiti CPE for this. I have wifi from where I am but the signal is really poor.

Thank you
