MSI GT730 gpu clock and memory clock goes below 500

First of all im a noob about computer/hardware stuff. my gfx usually has gpu clock of 1000mhz and memory clock of 2500mhz but I've noticed that both clock drops lower than 500mhz when the i'm not playing games. Is this just some kind of halt state or something is wrong? I've also noticed things are a bit slower (sometimes lag) when those clocks are below 500mhz

it a power saving feature in the drivers. if you want go into the nvidia control panel set it to max performance to keep the gpu from downclocking.

if you're talking about the power management mode it was already on "prefer maximum performance" setting

you have to go into the GPU control panel and adjust the settings there also keep in mind the 730 isnt really a gaming card but when not gaming the GPU loweres its speed to conserve power
