What if my cpu and motherboard has a built in graphics and i want to buy a separate dedicated video card. Will my customized set-up gets confused where to output it since there are three hardwares that has graphics processors? Do i need to disable anything from my bios or somewhere in my settings to make it output only in the video card after completing my build?

Motherboard these days dont have built in graphics. They have stopped mass producing that long time ago, unless you have a very old board. IGPU should work from the cpu until you attach a card. As soon as you attach a dedicated card, ideally the system should recognize and give it priority over the IGPU automatically. If it, doesnt, just enter bios and set display to pcie. Dont forget to attach your monitor to the right slot(igpu/dgpu).

Well the maximus viii extreme has a built in graphics though. But i guess system nowadays are more like plug and play devices which you said are capable of automatic detection. So I guess there is no need for me to worry right?
