Hi.
Im new to pc building, this was the first pc I built alone.
The problem started right in my first steps, I just installed the cpu and the cpufan, and connected the 20 and 8 pins, as well as one ram, to check if everything was okay.
But as soon as I powered up, the pc started an infinite loop of turning on and off. The motherboard shows a red light when trying to start, and turns off with the rest of the system.
Ive not tried to install anything else since.
The current specs are:
-Gigabyte motherboard gaming 3
-i5 6600k cpu
-coolermaster 212 evo
-adata ram 1x8gb
I already spent the day looking for solutions on this forums, done all the troubleshootings I could, resetting cmos, checking for bent pins on the cpu... im really getting tired of this.
I know there are a lot of posts with this problems, but none of them seem to help.
I will be really thankful for any help.
