Hello ,
I have a g60-443cl laptop running windows vista x32 bit. I checked and it is compatible with windows 7. I want to clean install it since that will solve some problems I have.
The thing is that I do not know how to format everything and save all the drivers and etc. , looking for help

Thanks alot

1. Purchase a valid Win 7.
2. Save, to another drive, all your personal files. Doc/Video/Music, etc.
3. Document all your log in details. Email, any applications that require a log in
4. Find and discover any serial numbers for your applications
5. Find and save the install files for any of your applications and utilities
6. Find and save to a USB all the Win 7 drivers for your hardware

Boot from your Win 7 that you purchased and install.
You want to wipe out ALL existing partitions on the drive, and start fresh.

Good points from USAFRet.

Added suggestion is to do your new clean install on a SSD.
If you should have any issue, your original HDD will remain untouched.

A SSD will transform the performance of your laptop.
There should be able to google the process for your particular laptop.
Run windows easy transfer to export any settings you want to save.
Download the drivers for your laptop and save them.
Particularly the internet drivers so you can get online and pick up anything you missed.

After the install, use a usb to sata adapter to retrieve your drivers from your HDD and install them.
copy any files you need to your new C drive.
Run windows easy transfer to import your settings.
You will also get a report on the aps you need to reinstall.

After you install the OS, install the drivers from that DVD.
