So I bought a new gpu AMD radeon Rx460. I switched from Nvidia graphics card and deleted all files of nvidia plus the registry ones before i installed amd's drivers. But i have an issue. Now when i'm like a minute in a game it crashes shows a black screen and closes the game with the temperature around 39 or 45 C. If I'm idle in the menu screen it crashes around 3 minutes temperature is around 39 stable. If I move fast in game i.e. scope in and out fast enough it takes around 30-40 seconds to crash and the temperature is like 48 or so. Though I run some stress tests and I left it for an hour to run maybe more, it's temp was 64 C stable from the 20 minute mark and didn't shut off a thing. Another problem is ie dishonored maxed out doesn't crash though sniper elite 3 full low crashes in a minute...Can you help me?

First things first, run dxdiag to determine if your directx installation is corrupt, try running the games as administrator to see if permissions are the issue, and check your cpu temps, try reinstalling the drivers again, test the card in another system and see if you get similar results, and last but not least remove and replace the 460 (while the system if off and unplugged of course.

It seems a little fishy if the directx if not the issue, with power draw make sure the power cables are fully seated and check to insure the power draw is fairly consistent under load.

Okay. I already did the drivers twice, games are running in admin by default, cpu changed the paste yesterday and no problems with that. What do you mean about remove and replace? I just got the gpu 2 days ago... and the gpu needs only motherboard power so no loose cables . What log entries you need from dxdiag?
And I have a 450 watt psu forgot to mention above...

Physically remove and replace the card from the system. 450 watts is more than sufficient for this system. Regardless of whether you replaced the thermal paste its age does not necessarily mean your temps are within safe ranges, so that information would be useful. If you post the whole log from dxdiag I can determine better which component or software configuration may be causing the issue. You might also check Event Viewer for any critical errors.

I checked the event viewer that's the log:

Dxdiag doesn't seem to respond at the moment so i can't give the full log out of it, I did remove my gpu and replaced it, cpu is running around 30 C idle and 35 to 40 C when in game but cpu wasn't any issue before my new gpu what i mean is that my cpu has the same temps as with my old gpu mounted.

Thats all very valuable information. Basically what the Event Viewer error is reporting is the display driver is corrupt (not likely as you have reinstalled several times) or a failure to communicate with the card. The card may be bad, return or RMA it for a replacement.

I see... I'll try to contact with my retail shop.. Thanks for your answer I'll update when everything I get my new card ^^

+voidwr Before you submit a RMA request, please uninstall the display drivers one more time with the utiliity DDU (Display Drivers Uninstaller): http://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=706
<click blue colored link> "Official download here"

The software will give you the option to reboot your system into safe mode; please selection that option.

Download the latest drivers and report back if the issue is better, worse or the same. I should also mention that there was one other user who mentioned that they are experiencing stability issues with the 16.12.1 drivers. If my procedure doesn't resolve the issue then download the previous driver version: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064

I did it and I even rolled back to previous versions..Nothing seems to work, RMA seems like the only option here :/
