this is a 3 year old drive. about 1.5 year ago i had mistakenly shutdown my pc while windows update then i got lots of bad sectors but zeroing the drive solved those(WD had said it was a software problem and zeroing will fix it and it did.) issues until today i see this. should i change the drive? there are no read/write problem i noticed on my end yet. The RAW values are in Decimal.

Hi there cykamancer,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

My suggestion would be to back up the data stored on the drive.

Do you think you can write zeros on the drive once again? See if this would have any impact on the SMART data. You can do so with WD's DLG tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=NPHR7w
Keep in mind that you need to back up the data stored on the drive first, as this is a data destructive process.

In case the issue persists, even though it seems that the drive has just one problematic sector, I would advise you to just get another HDD and use this one for storing non important data.

Cheers,
