Installed new psu and gpu not working gtx 1070

Hi, i bought a gaming pc before 1.7 year and after 1year I decided to buy new gpu and installed it and it worked great and after 7 months i saw an error about psu surge and i ignored it and reset the pc it was fine untill i came next day and saw my pc turned off while i kept it on , and i tried to turn it on it didn't work then asked a guy he told me that the psu is dead then i went to buy a new one and installed it ... every thing wokred exept the gpu can someone please tell me a sloution or what could happened. Sorry for bad english.

Old gpu 780ti

New gpu gtx 1070

Old psu corsair vs 650

New psu corsair cx750m modular

Motherboard asus z170m-plus

If everything else powers on normally then it's possible that either the GPU itself or the pci-e socket is fried.Try and clear your CMOS and then reseat the card and give it another try and if it doesn't work again try finding another system to test your GPU on.If it doesn't work on a different system then the gpu is most likely dead.

I don't know much of why it doesn't work without seeing it. But check your power cables? Make sure they are not lose? Is there power to the GPU? (lights, fans) usually indications. If not, your GPU might me dead. If you have a spare computer, you can test the GPU but not much I can help. Sorry if my attempt in helping is dumb.
