Hello,

I recently bought Skylake build and want to use my old hyper 212+ cooler with it.
I know the cooler is enough for 6600k overclocking but I wanted to ask how I should add thermal paste with this exact model. The model doesn't have flat surface in the area where it connects to CPU. Usually I would put a little dot of paste on the middle of the CPU and paste would spread rather well all around. But now if you think logically the dot would spread more thru the vertical middle gap out of CPU sides, wouldn't it?

You know what I mean? ||||

Here is picture of it:

You might have to use just a teeny bit more, to compensate for the little spaces in between the copper pipes and the alu plate.

But it will be fine.
I'd say maybe use 10% more than you usually would. Not a lot.

I have a 212+ that I'm about to put into some parts I'm reusing.
