Searching for a PSU

A family friend of mine recently got a new computer (An HP Z200 workstation). He's a gamer, so the given PSU of 320 watts is not going to cut it for his needs. He does have an EVGA 500 watt PSU though, but when the time came to remove the 320 watt and install his own, he noticed the slot was meant for an approximately 6x6x4 inch PSU (too large to install his 500 watt PSU). He's considering just leaving the PSU outside of the case, but he thinks it's ugly. So I'm just asking whether or not there's a PSU out there that is very similar in size to 6x6x4 inches and is greater than or equal to 500 watts.

Many Thanks.

Are we talking about the SFF version

or the desktop version? Either which way

The board has proprietary connections meaning the PSU is tailored to operate inside the Z200 workstation units only. In fact you should think to yourself, the workstation system's are designed for out of the box use and under 24/ duty cycles, not customer modification scenarios.

Simple answer, for the SFF=no.
