Sorry folks, it's another one of these and it's my first post.

I am building my first PC. Skylake/Asus Z170A setup. I do not have a DVD/CD drive. I am installing from a bootable USB that I created using the instructions here:
http://woshub.com/how-to-create-uefi-bootable-usb-drive-to-install-windows-7/
(I am using a purchased OEM disc of Win7).

Note: I did not make it UEFI bootable because the instructions were not clear; I stopped at:
Code:
xcopy d:\* f:\ /s /e
which according to another site, should yield a standard non-UEFI bootable install USB.

I keep getting "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" even after trying:

1) Using USB 2.0 ports only

2) Trying the 'start install, cancel at driver message, unplug usb and plug back in' trick

3) Same as above except plugging usb back into different port

I have spent the better part of the day on this and I am about to fork over the money to buy Windows 10 in the hopes that it does not suffer from this issue.
