I have recently bought a new computer
It has a skylake i5 6500 processor
Gtx 1070 graphics card
When playing cs go i get around 100-200 fps mostly sitting around 130 -150 on low settings...

Im sure this is wrong as with this build i should get around 200+???

Someone please help me ive tried so many things

EDIT; reinstalled drivers fully, changed power settings, checked cpu usage and temperature (im quite new to pcs)

Also it basically is the same when i put it on high settings..
But why only 130-150?? And not 200+? My max fps i set at 999 too

Havent touched anything to do with gsync? Not sure what that is

You should definitely be getting more fps. I just finished my new build last night, i5 6600k and 1060 3gb and I get over 200fps with max settings on most games. Download GPU z and CPU z. Check what your clock rates are in real time and if they are what they should be.

Ok so basically your gpu and cpu run at a fixed frequency. This is measured in Hz/KHz/MHz/GHz. Download the 2 softwares I mentioned and you can monitor your cpu and gpu speeds.

Ok your pu and cpu are working fine. It must be a software or seting related issue. Have you set power management to max performance in nvidia control panel? What Hz does you monitor have? If it's under 120 Hz click v sync in nvidia control panel and choose fast. This will enable Fast sync, you won't lose fps and very little input lag, and no screen tearing.

My friend, i have a gtx 770 and fx 8350, i get 160-250 fps stable. In csgo options, there is an option multi core rendering or something like that, make sure to keep that ON, i got a boost in fps after switching it ON
