Hello, i have a question, i'm thinking about buying another 970 for sli, but checking my pc i've noticed the cables that connects my current 970, are like "bridged", here are some photos..

I want to know, do i have to connect both cards with different cables straight to the PSU? Or does this kind of bridge still work?

Also, the Thermaltake 730w (on photos) is enough to handle this sli?

Thanks!

The bridge should work if GPU is not taking a lot of power, you are safer with two separate ones, only concern is wire gauge and if it can let enough power go thru without heating up, so you can check it yourself. Try with one and see if cables get hot or even warmer than other ones.

I've never noticed any warm problems (besides normal heat up when running demanding games), cables are pretty solid too, i'll try connecting the actual card to the bridged connectors and check if there's any temperature difference on the headers. Thanks
