DXDIAG reads only 2gb instead of 4gb. need HELP!

hi guys,

i have Geforce GTX 1050ti 4gb and Asus h81m-a. but the dxdiag reads only 2gb instead 4gb? what should I do about it?

Download GPU-Z and it will show the correct VRAM avaiable.

I've never seen a video card have less video memory accessible than what's installed. (except perhaps the GTX970)

Several programs however can make mistakes when stating memory or other information about installed hardware.

You can use GPU-Z as suggested or look into MSI Afterburner or similar which can show VRAM usage in games (some of these are a bit confusing at first to configure the OSD or On Screen Display).

^ ^^ I agree with both. Also, I wouldn't give a second thought to DXDiag misreporting a VRAM figure.
