GPU for AMD Sempron 2400+?

Solution
Don't bother. That CPU release 12 1/2 years ago. But in answer to your question, you would need a Socket A (Socket 461) motherboard. The only thing that you could comfortably run on it is Windows XP or linux Windows XP is end of life, and therefore very insecure. The memory would either be DDR(1) or DDR2, which is two to three generations behind in memory architecture. I don't know any details about the power supply but I'm presuming that it's low quality, if someone simply threw it away.

Can I assume that you already have a working PC and you honestly just wanted to revitalize this as a project? I recommend that you invest your time and money into your main PC, not this one. But if you are intent on fixing up this one, you'd...
+YiYo97 Could you please state your full specs, including your power supply manufacturer and model number? motherboard, storage, ram, everything. Also, you're asking for a OS recommendation. Does this mean that you're building this machine, or you already possess it? If this machine is existing, what is your upgrade budget?

Thanks for the Reply! :D

I found the Sempron 2400+ and a Power supply 400w (separately) in the street,
so i wanted (just for fun) build a PC with this components

But i don't know what is the best GPU, Motherboard and RAM for this processor XD
(I don't want to Bottleneck, But I also do not exceed with Ultra Low hardware)

(sorry for my english)

But if you are intent on fixing up this one, you'd need the motherboard and RAM. The motherboard may or may not have SATA connectors for your storage. It very possibly might have the older IDE connectors, and hard drives haven't had that interface for 10+ years. USB is probably version 1.1. The PCI slots are probably not PCI Express. You would have to find these components used on Ebay. I strongly discourage you from bothering with any of this. There is nothing that this PC will do for you in the year 2016.

This is the type of motherboard that would work with your CPU:

Many of these boards come with the CPU and memory on Ebay. I should also mention that this CPU is low-end even by 12 1//2 year ago standards. The Athlon is the more powerful version of this AMD architecture. I happened to have a board just like this, which I recycled along with the CPU and memory. They really aren't worth anything.

However, for $500-$600, you could build a very good gaming computer.
