I just built my first computer about a week ago and things have been going very smoothly!

I have noticed that upon every reboot or wake from sleep that the computer has some type of fan noise coming from it that lasts about 20 minutes until it completely shuts off. I know its not the chassis fans or the CPU cooler because those run regularly after the allotted 20 minutes and I do not hear a single thing coming from the computer (Yes, my PC is super super quiet!...with good temps too!)

After the approximate 20 minutes, the fan noise turns off and in sort of an obnoxious way? Like, it sounds like an airplane turning off (sound not to scale though). After it turns off my computer is completely silent.

What do you guys think this "fan" noise is? And, if you know, how do I minimize its sound?

Mobo: ASUS Z170-A ATX
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

It's possible you're talking about the fans in your PSU that runs when it needs to dissipate heat from the components. Speaking of components, you forgot to include your full system's specs inclusive of your OS. Please pass them on.

On another note, there's only so much we can convey with a textual message or even with words. It'd help us all two fold if we could have a listen to the sound and if there was a video, could corroborate your story as to the source of the noise.
