HP pro 3300 cpu support

Hey guys im helping upgrade my friends prebuilt to gaming conversion pc and im fairly certain it supports i5 2400's and 2500's but i just wanted to double check and see..

well hard to say I am having hard time to find specifications on the computer itself, and it does look like it is an H61 chipset motherboard used
you would have to confirm this, do you have the TAG number of the product on the back of HP computer to verify with HP itself, there are many varyiations of cpus I see from the HP 3300 PRo series desktops computers

I see Oh H61 chipset dual cores to I3-3100 ( and on H61 express , yes the I5-2400S/2.56Ghz)
so it depends on the motherboard chipset, run Speccy and see what the motherboard chipset it currently has
if H61 then I3, if H61 Express mean I5 yes
