So the cables didn't come with the hdd/sdd or power supply. I am talking about thestuff you use to put into thestorage I guess so it can start working and that I need help with. Exactly what type of cables would I go about buying? Does it matter? For reference, I have an EVGA SuperNova 650W G2 I believe. Hear somethibg that has to do with a molex wire or whatever? I don't know

To power a SATA HDD/SSD, you would need a SATA data cable. Normally, you will be given at least two SATA cables with your motherboard to use. To power the drive, you only need to use the SATA power plugs from your power supply. Your psu will have 9 sata plugs to use, three on each cable provided.

Yeah that I know. I have SATA cables that came with it, however the other part I guess is something I don't have. I'll show a picture

If you are talking about the 2x4 pin header on the left, then those are legacy master/slave selectors.you can just ignore them. The connector on the far right is the SATA power and the shorter one just to its left is the SATA data connector.
