My config is
Asus H170m Pro Gaming
MSI GTX 1070 8GB
2x 8GB DDR4 Ram HyperX FURY 2.133mhz
I5 6600 quad core
1TB WD Blue
120GB SSD HyperX Savage
EVGA 700B 80+ Bronze
Thermaltake Commander G42

So im wondering if it is worth to buy a 1080p 144hz screen or if i need a overclockeable cpu.

Solution
You won't get a steady 144fps on any game. Though an i7 wont either, the i5 6600 is a very capable chip and will give you very high fps on most games. Only an overclocked i7 6700k will give a good amount better fps and even then it depends on the game. I would say yes it's worth it even if you don't get 144 fps all the time, even 90fps will feel very smooth on a 144hz screen. :)
