I recently got a new CPU and installed it in my motherboard. For some reason I cannot boot with both my memory sticks in the system now. There are only 2 RAM slots on my motherboard and it will not boot if a ram stick is in the ram slot that's closes to the CPU. Any help would be much appreciated. More details follow:

Symtom: No post on boot, No video on boot

New CPU: i7 6700K 4.0GHz
Old CPU: i5 6500 Codename: Skylake
Motherboard: Asus H110M-A
RAM: ADATA XPG DDR4 2133(15) 4GX8
RAM SERIAL: AX4U2133W4G15-BRZ

What I've Tried:
- Both memory sticks work if you put them in the slot futhest away from the CPU. So that tells me the RAM sticks are good.
- Clear CMOS and removing battery and loading BIOS optimized defaults.
- Updated to the latest BIOS version 2001

Solution
please check the cpu and socket as the memory controller is built into the cpu. Don't forget to check for bent pins int he socket.

That was the exact problem. I had bent pins in my CPU socket. Thank you for your help.
