1. free sync is not a bad option. its definitely cheaper than gsync. it will definitely help...
Not great. You can easily afford a much better graphics card. i also picked a better ssd and more affordable parts that will give you 0% less performance.

questions @ N3rdR4ge

1. Will there not be screen tearing on that monitor on games that I will get high fps on?

2. I chose the amd graphics card for a few reasons, such as: free sync, virtual super resolution, it was on a huge sale for only 260$, and it performed better in benchmark tests than the Nvidia gtx 1060. Now I know the 1070 gtx is stronger and more power efficient, but wouldn't it be wasted gaming only at 1080p?

3 Lastly, why do you prefer the micro ATX build path over a regular sized ATX one?

I did research on the 750 evo ssd and found that it performed very closely to the 850 evo for a cheaper price, is this not true?

@ elbert

I forgot to mention that I will not be overlocking my hardware, I want to go with a simple air cooled solution. Maybe for my next build, but I felt for my first one I should keep it simple, it also saves me some money since I can use the stock cooler for the cpu.

So if I'm not overclocking, should I change anything?

You could just leave off the cryorig H7 and basically its just a stock system. Granted it runs 600Mhz faster then the 6700 but still stock. The higher clock will come in handy with streaming plus the memory can run at higher clocks on the Z170. Also it supports crossfire if you ever need a second Fury.

1. free sync is not a bad option. its definitely cheaper than gsync. it will definitely help tearing. there are programs that can limit your fps to 60 like RivaTuner also, which helps a lot. I personally would prefer a 1070, no gsync and a 60hz monitor over what you posted.

2. a 1070 is perfect for 1080p. the most important part of having a stronger gpu is less minimum frames. one of the worst things to see in your game is a frame drop from like 60 to 20. it will also hold up much better on future games. there is really never a downside to having a stronger gpu in terms of gaming. if your frames are too high you can always enable virtual super resolution on nvidia cards as well. you'll get a cleaner picture and cut your frames down plenty.

3. you selected a non-k chip which isn't made for overclocking. you don't need a big robust board with a lot of power management and heat dissipation. a smaller board is fine for a non overclocked system and generally provides the same features in a more compact, slimmed down way. you can get a big discount on a smaller case too. it helps with budgeting the parts that matter.

750 evo is still a good choice. all i said was the 850 is a "better" ssd.
