Need a good surge protector for my new pc build

Means that in a plain ordinary surge protection strip, there's just the one lighted switch near the cable that protects the entire strip, but in this case, that particular surge suppressor has multiple switches, one for each outlet, so if 1 trips, the rest are left functioning only the overloaded outlet is shutdown, prior to the Master switch tripping.

Normally I see nothing wrong with overcooling, be it cpu or case, but that cpu runs very cool to start with and won't ever need the potential that the TC14-PE can provide. There are many cheaper alternatives that'll do the same job. And still maintain the color scheme. Msi and Asus also have other options for the gpu that are cheaper (and better) than the FE, such as the Asus turbo or...

Why the more expensive founders edition video card and all that cooling with a Z170 board without the K processor.
Unless your using work programs the memory is overkill also.

So for that Surge Protector, that one outlet that's always on, what should I plug in there if I did get it? Also, what does it mean that 6 of them are individually controlled?
