Question:Moving OS from one system to new

Hello, I previously made a thread about a booting issue that i had on this system back when i had only just made it,

I installed windows 10(fresh store baught copy) but i dont really like it, i have a old Seagate HDD in what was the old computer with a copy of Windows 7 service package 1. the issue i am having is, will it be possible for me to move Windows 7 from that computer without moving any other data / games ect.. and use said copy on this system with no issue, or will i likely have the same issue i previously had with booting.
Also, The copy of windows 7 on the HDD is older & hadnt been used in a long time/ before i baught the ssd that had the same copy on.
Also if i wanted to install the copy of windows 7 and i only had the key for it would that be possible(i can still get that off the old system i believe)

No.
Unless you have a purchased Win 10 Pro or higher, there is no downgrade rights.

And an image from the old PC is unlikely to boot up, and highly unlikely to activate itseld

With move it i mean, move it onto an External HDD then attempt to get it to work on the ssd, i cant put in a disk or anything like that because i took the disk drive out of the old computer & i never had a Win7 disk for this os(i had it put on in some store & they didnt give me a disk because they're dodgy bastards

If you can download it from Microsoft, it is a full copy.
Strongly suggest you just do a whole new install on the new system, rather than trying to move things around.

"In order to download and install Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 you must currently have a Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 already installed. " from the download page, wonder if u can tell me if it will still work seeing how i have a 64Bit store baught copy of windows 10.

What does Win 10 have to do with this?
What are you wanting to install? Win 7 or Win 10?

Did you upgrade that original Win 7 to Win 10?

I want to go from Windows 10 on this computer(which i had a clean ssd/ removed old OS after it wouldnt boot which was windows 7SP1 because i changed the whole computer / The old thread that i linked earlier on in here) to windows 7 (i dont have a disk for windows 7 & i dont have any money to spare) & it was saying "In order to download and install Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 you must currently have a Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version of Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 already installed. " on the download site

That link is to download Service Pack 1 for Win 7. NOT to download the actual OS.

For the OS, go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
It will require you to enter a valid non-OEM license key.

IF i grab a system image off the other computer/backup with OS, is it possible that i can use said backup on this pc or use it to downgrade to Win7
