Any Suggestions for Parts for my first PC?

Okay, So, I've been reccomended to this site by multiple people I know, and a few used this site to help them with THEIR first computers, and since this is my first and I'm a bit green on parts and everything, I'd like some help.
I know the basics of putting together a computer, I did make one in a Computer Science class but it was more toned down and an older rig (We didn't seat a graphics card, it was some type in the processor, intel graphics, I think?) and instead of SATA cables we had the old rubber-band looking thing. I know about the motherboard placing, the ram seating, kind of on the hard drive (it most likely will be the same just a bit different due to the case being significantly newer, or atleast I think it will be a bit different) and we put in a CD-ROM, which I don't know if I will get.

So, I need a few suggestions on parts I will need and feedback on the ones I already know I'm getting.

And before you might go crazy due to some of the parts, even though it is my first build I'd just like to save myself the time of having to upgrade in the future.

Graphics Card: GTX 1080
Processor: Intel i7-6700 Quad Core
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 (Corsair, maybe?)
Definately a hard drive, would need feedback on which, though.
a Samsung 256GB SSD

WHAT I NEED SUGGESTIONS FOR:
A good mobo? I'm thinking an ASUS or MSI, don't know what model would be good though, although definately 4 RAM slots for POSSIBLE increase in the future.

A cooler? I'm definately not going to go water cooling on my first build so I need suggestions for a good, but semi-quiet fan that will keep my PC cool.

PSU? I'm thinking EVGA but I have no idea what wattage power to go for or any of that.

Case is pretty easy, most likely Mid Tower

And also a few questions, do SATA cables come with a mobo or are they bought seperately? and do I need to buy a case fan seperately or does it come with the case?

I hope you guys can answer some of these questions, and before you go ape on me for knowing barely anything this IS my first build.

I would recommend as it has been said many times, even though your I7-6700 is locked you can loop/bypass that options later by using the Z170 chipset Motherboard (AsRock boards) but if you have no plans to ever overclock it go for the cheaper H170 chipset Motherboard.
No I never give a brand name, I am biased with Asus, many like MSI (shudder) or AS Rock (bleh) :p

PSU: I like corsair, look at pc part picker for your parts and look top right it will give you an indication about what max power it will consume, give yourself a buffer and get the bigger one (i.e. if it read 293w consumption, don't get the 300w but the 450 or 500w) it is about money in the end as well as they can run expensive spend a few more bucks on a 400w certified...

CPU Cooler comes normally with your I7, and if you are to not overclock it, then it should do you just fine

since your not into making a big fuss about water cooling, I would suggest the Enemax Ostrog case, it Mid tower, plenty of room, easy front /back access fits 2 on top, one rear, 1 bottom, 2 front fans :) I own 4 love them and the price is often on special, I usually grab a spare one when they go to 29.99 from the 54.00 usual price. and don't get me wrong I have my CPU and GPU (GTX 970) both on water coolers in that same case.. its plenty of room.

Most motherboards come with hardware for mounting, usually 1 or 2 sata cable, so do the drives, normally plenty to install it and have spares for you pc box. for next time
